Light Hands Horsemanship marks the start of the summer show season for Spalding Labs. is under way and it’s just the beginning for the 2012 summer season of events and shows for Spalding Labs Light Hands Horsemanship finished its 2012 show on Sunday, June 3rd. .

Like years before, it was a wonderful event that was enjoyed by all. Light Hands Horsemanship is in Santa Ynez, CA again this year at beautiful Intrepid Farm. Be If you weren’t able to attend this year be sure to mark your calendar for 2013. The four days in late May and early June are full of horsemanship tips, tricks and lots of examples of professional know-how. Attendees learn from the best like Eitan Beth-Halachmy, Jon Ensign and Richard Winters and enjoy great food and fireside talks with all the presenters. AmerEquine was heldis June 1st through the 3rd in Fort Worth, Texas at the Will Rogers Memorial Center and Spalding Labs wasill be in attendance. AmerEquine is a wonderful combination of equine exposition, marketplace and music festival. Equine presenters included Tim McQuay and Craig Cameron. Pat Parelli is on his 2012 Horse and Soul Tour. There are a lot of stops along the way and Spalding Labs will be participating in quite a few of them. We were’ll be with Pat in Columbus, OH on June 2nd and 3rd. We will also be joining Pat in , St. Paul, MN July 14th and 15th, Pagosa Springs, CO September 7th – 9th and many more dates through the fall. The Western Sates Horse Expo is at Cal Expo in Sacramento, CA June 8th -10th. It is a favorite of the staff at Spalding Labs. The expo has clinics of all types, lots of shopping, competitive events and great food. The Magnificent 7 All-Around Stock Horse Championship returns to the expo this year. Eitan Beth-Halachmy, Dr. Robert Miller and many others will be presenting. If you’re in the area you ought to stop by and check out this event. More information can be found at horseexpo.com.

Battle In The Saddle in Oklahoma City, OK is coming up July 3rd through the 8th. It’s held at State Fair Park and is six exciting days of competition. Competitors come from all over the world and battle in events that include barrel racing, mounted shooting, cutting, ranch sorting, roping, working cow horse and others. This year’s event features more than $144,000 in added money and more than $300,000 estimated in purses. In addition to the competitive events there is a trade show portion of the event where you can find all the latest and greatest products from companies … and … stop by the Spalding Labs booth to say hello. 

Of course, Spalding Labs attends these events to share information about Fly Predators, Bye Bye Odor, fly traps and our new Cow•Vac. But we really like talking to our customers, old and new. We hope if you’re at one of these events you’ll stop by to visit.
