Just ten days after having surgery, Mike Johnson was in Douglas, Wyoming back in the arena sharing his passion for calf roping with the next generation of ropers. Jade Lyon assisted Mike with ground techniques and will be making this year’s clinic tour with Mike and Sherrylynn.

April is a busy month of clinics for the Johnsons. They were in Pocatello, Idaho in 90-degree weather and had to drive through snow on their way to Logandale, Nevada.

After Logandale they were catching a red eye flight out of Las Vegas to Indianapolis, Indiana where they had a weekend clinic. That was followed by a flight back to Las Vegas and a drive to Red Bluff, California for the next week. Mike and Sherrylynn prove that barrel racing, roping and clinics are not for folks that don’t like to travel.

At the clinics Sherrylynn also talks about how keeping a healthier environment in stalls and trailers by using Bye Bye Odor and reducing the level of ammonia results in the horse’s performance improving. You can learn more about Sherrylynn and J.T.’s successes with Bye Bye Odor by reading the earlier blog on this site titled, Professional Barrel Racer, Sherrylynn Johnson’s Experience with Bye Bye Odor.

If you’d like to see Sherrylynn doing what she does best, visit www.johnsonsportline.com and watch a video from the 2010 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo where she has a time of 13.97. Other videos include an arena record ride on Snoopy in Jonesboro, Arkansas and Sherrylynn riding J.T., winning the first go round in Ft. Worth, Texas.

J.T. is returning to the “rodeo playground” soon so check back for more news from Mike and Sherrylynn.
