One of the most active riders on the Grandprix circuit, Laura Chapot has followed in the footsteps of her parents, U.S. Olympic veterans Mary and Frank Chapot, with a successful show jumping career nationally and internationally. A long time Fly Predator customer, Laura says, "Fly Predators have reduced the flies tremendously on our farm. There is nothing complicated about them, they just work!"

Chapot represented the United States Equestrian Team (USET) for the first time in 1995 while still in her first year of Grand Prix competition. She was a member of the USET's squad for the 1995 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, Canada. At the Royal, she claimed victory in the Northlands Firelogs World Cup Qualifier by turning in double clear rounds. She finished her 1995 season by being named AGA/Rookie of the Year and being ranked ninth in the 1995 Budweiser/AGA Rider of the Year standings.
